Saturday Recommendation #6

Happy Saturday! This will be my 6th Saturday Recommendation! Yay! I also kept up with my schedule for a whole week like I challenged myself to do last week! Double yay! For my reward I win a $2000 gift card to Books-a-million.

Seriously?

HAHAHAHAHA! Who do you think I am? A broke teenage girl? Because if you thought that you would be totally correct.

Anyways guys, today I’m recommending The Selection Series as a whole. Here’s the summary of the first book:

For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn’t want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she’s made for herselfand realizes that the life she’s always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined.

I’ve been holding off on recommending the series as a whole because it wasn’t completed until recently and I hadn’t read the last installment and now that I have I’m totally recommending it! I also recommend binge reading the series because each book starts exactly where the last one except of course The One and The Heir, because there are twenty years between them but I still recommend binge reading the series.

Okay? Okay.

Alright guys I’ve just been so hype this past couple of days since this is my first week of summer break, but I swear I’ll calm down. Have you guys started summer vacation? What’s on your summer TBR? Love you guys! Bye! ~Blondie
