November Book Haul

I bought too many books this month considering I started getting my Christmas and birthday money/presents so that means…lots of books! So here’s my list!

At the first of the month I got $25 dollars for my birthday, considering it was given to me through the mail, you can’t really judge me getting it a month before my birthday, okay? But with that money I purchased Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, which I read in less than two days, and a collection of Edgar Allen Poe poems.

I also got Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell because of some random act of kindness from my mother. Thank you Mommy! And I also accumulated Killing Reagan by Bill O’Reilly, from my dad, who bought the book for some unknown reason (I mean come on he hasn’t read a book since High School)

And as we all do I went a little crazy on Black Friday, so I ended up purchasing two books that I have been eyeing for quite a while. And those two books are, The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige, that I’ve been meaning to get, ever sense I read Dorothy Must Die. And it’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. I’m currently a 1/4 of the way through It’s Kind of a Funny Story, so I feel quite accomplished.

Okay, I know you’re very tired of hearing about my birthday, but since we celebrated my birthday, the day before, I technically still got these books in November. So, these two books, thanks to my wonderful brother are proudly sitting upon my bookshelf. Okay and those two books are, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott & Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I don’t know what, but I have been going through a classic genre phase lately.

Did you get that? If not here’s the list…

  • Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
  • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  • It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
  • The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige
  • Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
  • Killing Reagan by Bill O’Reilly
  • Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
  • Collection of Edgar Allen Poe Poems

So, that’s all for this month’s haul and I can’t believe it’s my birthday! AH! I’m a teenager! And also it’s 25 days until Christmas! I’m very excited, if you couldn’t tell. Alright guys that’s all for tonight. Write to yeah later! ~Blondie
