The Beginning of Everything Book Review

Sometimes I think that everyone has a tragedy waiting for them, that the people buying milk in their pajamas or picking their noses at stoplights could be only moments away from disaster. That everyone’s life, no matter how unremarkable, has a moment when it will become extraordinary. A single encounter after which everything that really matters will happen.

This story follows a high school golden boy named Ezra through his Senior year of high school. He has always thought that his senior year would be full of fun and Tennis and pranks and sitting with the jocks and popular girls. But, I car accident that shatters his knee, his athletic career, and his social life. No longer being a front runner for prom king, or the boyfriend of an it-girl, Ezra finds himself at a table of mis-fits lead by his oldest friend Toby who at a birthday party, caught the severed head of a reckless rollercoaster rider. (As the british titles says; Severed Heads, and Broken Hearts) While at this new social point in his life, Ezra meets Cassidy Thorpe. She’s unlike anyone Ezra has ever met before. Achingly effortless, fiercely intelligent, not-so surprisingly stubborn, and most of all determined to make Ezra enjoy the wildness in life.

This is the debut novel for Robyn Schneider. Maybe you’ve heard of her. She wrote another book called Extraordinary Means. I did a review for it which you can read after this one the link is right here. https://blondiesbookshelf.wordpress.com/?s=extraordinary+means Out of 5 stars I give it 4.5 stars. It was amazing, brilliant, and had so many amazing plot twists my head was spinning…in a good way.

So, that’s all dudes. Bye! ~Blondie
